Sharman Hartson enjoys helping congregations discover their heritage, assisting researchers with questions, organizing historical materials, and uncovering stories of the Stone-Campbell heritage. She is interested in church architecture, stories about missionaries, and collecting oral histories.

Sharman has been a member of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) all of her life. She began working at Disciples of Christ Historical Society after completing her Masters of Divinity degree at Vanderbilt University. She is an ordained minister and works with Children’s Ministries at a local church.
