Mac’s ministry at the Society is focused on our growing program of public services. He coordinates our response to research queries from independent scholars to genealogists, from students to professors, and from congregations to para-church organizations. He also coordinates a range of special events such the Stalcup Seminar to the student paper competition to our corps of volunteer docents.

A graduate of Lipscomb University in Nashville, he has experience in teaching and congregational ministry. His Ice family roots in Stone-Campbell churches extend back to the 1830’s in West Virginia. In fact, what prompted his very first visit to the Society (when he was in high school) was an interest in family history.

Mac and his spouse Laura live in the Nashville area with their three daughters.
