The Historical Society is open to the public:
Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and
Friday from 9 AM to 1 PM.
Visitors and researchers should contact us by email or phone: 866-834 - 7563 (toll free) or 615-327-1444 before they visit, in order to facilitate the best possible service from our staff.
Special "off hours" tours will remain available by appointment.
If you are planning a research visit, please fill out our Schedule A Visit form prior to coming. You can submit this form online, or by mail.
Finding Your Way To The Historical Society
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide free parking for our guests. We reside in a beautiful building, to be sure, but it is land-locked, with no provision for parking. There is a premium parking garage right behind us (on Scarritt). Metered-parking is also available curbside. Thank you for your cooperation by using these public parking options.
Looking for Accomodations?
