Dr. Glenn Thomas Carson is the keynote speaker at the 2011 Oreon E. Scott Clergy Conference, October 3 -5, 2011 at Christmount Christian Assembly in Black Mountain, North Carolina.

Carson's talk, "Calling All Disciples: Leadership Lessons from the Lord's Table" focuses on the passionate servant-leadership that Jesus has inspired in his followers for millennia. The leadership principles under which he operated are on full display in the four Gospels and are firmly grounded in Jesus' approach to the Last Supper with his disciples.

The Oreon E. Scott Clergy Conference began at Christmount in 1998 through grants from the Oreon E. Scott Foundation. The event brings scholars and clergy together in discussion of important issues for ministry and the church.
