Welcome to our first online only issue of Streamlines.

We publish our newsletter three times per year – spring, summer, and fall. All three issues are online. However, the summer issue is exclusively electronic. When we say we’re the future of history, we really mean it.

This issue is packed with all kinds of interesting information about what’s going on at the Historical Society. You will want to click on every page, so that you will be among those who are completely up-to-date on our programs and plans.

And, oh, what plans we have! This past spring, our Board of Trustees affirmed our framework of goals for every aspect of this ministry. We now have a clear direction for how we will serve you in the coming years, and how we will insure our mission lives on for generations to come.

If You Can Read This, Things Are Looking Up

If you have attempted to visit our website lately you probably are aware of the fact that we have been experiencing ongoing problems with our Internet service. You may also have been unable to reach us by e-mail or not heard from us in response. We apologize for this inconvenience, and we are taking steps to solve the problem. A contract has been signed with a new Internet service provider – part of our new contract includes upgrading our entire communications infrastructure – and we will be fully back online by August 1.
