In 2006 the Thomas W. Phillips Memorial Archives, home of Disciples of Christ Historical Society, was placed on the National Register of Historic Places. This splendid example of the academic Tudor Gothic style was honored by placement on the National Register for its architectural magnificence as well as the structure's distinctive story of a faith tradition as reflected in the history and symbolism of the artwork in its stained glass and sculpture.
Visitors to the Memorial Archives often remark on the beauty and meaning of the stone shields and stained glass windows. This online tour is an attempt to provide the experience of "virtually" visiting the building. This tour, like a museum exhibit, can be studied in depth or scanned quickly. We hope you will enjoy your visit to Disciples of Christ Historical Society.
