You are welcome to research in our collections in person. Our facility is known as a place of hospitality as well as place of research and learning.
Please complete this form prior to your visit, so that we may provide you with the best possible personal assistance. To submit this form by postal mail, download a pdf version.
To ensure that our archives are available and serviceable for researchers in the future, there are restrictions in place for their use and handling. Please familiarize yourself with our policies and fees.
Parking
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide free parking for our guests. We reside in a beautiful building, to be sure, but it is land-locked, with no provision for parking. There is a premium parking garage right behind us (on Scarritt). Metered-parking is also available curbside. Thank you for your cooperation by using these public parking options.
Looking for Accommodations?
Scarritt-Bennett Conference Center is located across the street from the Historical Society and offers reasonably priced accomodations and meals. For more information, visit their website.
Christmas/New Years Schedule
The Society will be closed from December 26, 2011 through January 4, 2012. No research services will be available during this time.
We'll re-open for business on Friday, January 5, 2012.
